I made Biscuit Suji earlier this morning, finished everything around 2pm. Tasted the biscuits after breaking fast and it was sooooo delicious!!! Made it for nenek and nyai.

It's my family's recipe. No idea where my mom got it though but it's really nice! This delicacy isn't hard to do, very easy indeed. It's not exactly a biscuit ... I don't know how to explain, but malays should know how it looks like. ^.~

As my mom would be busy with tailoring hari raya clothes, I'm kind of in charge of the kuih muih. I know how to do kuih tart (pineapple tart) but I'm no expert. My mom's an expert in that so she'll be making them. I'll just have to fill up the pineapple.

The rest of the kuih muih (Hari raya specialties) ... I'll be the one making them. For this year, there'll be Suji, Love letters, Chocolate Chip cookies and definitely ... Kuih Tart!!! Maybe a few more, but those are the ones confirmed to be made.

I won't be taking that many orders for cookies this year. Just my younger sis's two malay teachers who ordered 100 pieces of suji's each. Will be making love letters for nyai, nenek and my aunties even ...

Of course, my mom will give me some hard work's money for this ... At least I have my time occupied with something useful during the holidays. And not always sitting in front of the computer.

I want to earn some money too. Besides baking is something I really enjoy. <333

Maira called. Her flight's to Vietnam will be on 1st of October. We will send you off at the airport! Insya-allah.

Told you already, but I missed the airport. It had been so long since I've ride on the airplane!!!! Coming from a girl who had taken airplanes for countless times since she was only 3 years old. Yeah, I'm very lucky.

But ... I still miss the atmosphere of the airport! *pouts* Wanna ride on an airplane again soon!
