My throat hurts. Sigh.

Very tired, bought some stuff @ Orchard with Rinie.
Really like the top that I bought, fits me perfectly. Have to buy a cardigan or the inside shirt, must be very thin though ...

Month of Ramadan. I'm sick. Oh wellz, hope my throat will be much better tmr. Thank god I don't have any fever otherwise I'll have to cancel the meeting with Rinie today. It was just a slight fever yesterday.

Made Suji yesterday and the day before that ...
Got about 4 bottles now, still need to fill up some space for two of them ...

I really love this recipe of Suji. It's really soft, and melts in my mouth. (For me, at least)

I made love letters!!!! Nice and crunchy!!!~~~~
Have to make more later ...

Hmm, tmr ... I think I'll be making chocolate chip cookies.
Maybe Love letters again. Have to make more for my grandparents on both sides, and of course ... my own family.

I'm OUT!

Today I feel it, and I have it!

The feeling is definitely not wrong. There's always this kind of feelings whenever it's going to come. I thought it would be yesterday, but it eventually came today.

You guys would probably be thinking ... "What the hell am I talking about?"

Cut straight to the point. I'm having my menstruation. Therefore I'm not fasting. Uuuuh, it's not a feeling of happy though when I mentioned that. I like fasting. But when menstruation comes, we muslim girls are not allowed to fast.

Have to pay back the fasting days we owed later on. I'll try to pay back soon, and not as last minute as I always done! I'm always procrastinating when it comes to paying back time. Sigh. I wonder why.

Gonna buy a pair of coloured contact lenses for Hari Raya! Had a deal with my younger sis. We're gonna buy the Freshlook lenses. There's a special price if you buy 3 pairs of contact lenses for Freshlook at THE STRAITS.

I'm just gonna buy a pair only ... Hmm, I like natural outlook. So I might be buying brown colour. ^0^

Ikuta Toma deserves a debut!

I made Biscuit Suji earlier this morning, finished everything around 2pm. Tasted the biscuits after breaking fast and it was sooooo delicious!!! Made it for nenek and nyai.

It's my family's recipe. No idea where my mom got it though but it's really nice! This delicacy isn't hard to do, very easy indeed. It's not exactly a biscuit ... I don't know how to explain, but malays should know how it looks like. ^.~

As my mom would be busy with tailoring hari raya clothes, I'm kind of in charge of the kuih muih. I know how to do kuih tart (pineapple tart) but I'm no expert. My mom's an expert in that so she'll be making them. I'll just have to fill up the pineapple.

The rest of the kuih muih (Hari raya specialties) ... I'll be the one making them. For this year, there'll be Suji, Love letters, Chocolate Chip cookies and definitely ... Kuih Tart!!! Maybe a few more, but those are the ones confirmed to be made.

I won't be taking that many orders for cookies this year. Just my younger sis's two malay teachers who ordered 100 pieces of suji's each. Will be making love letters for nyai, nenek and my aunties even ...

Of course, my mom will give me some hard work's money for this ... At least I have my time occupied with something useful during the holidays. And not always sitting in front of the computer.

I want to earn some money too. Besides baking is something I really enjoy. <333

Maira called. Her flight's to Vietnam will be on 1st of October. We will send you off at the airport! Insya-allah.

Told you already, but I missed the airport. It had been so long since I've ride on the airplane!!!! Coming from a girl who had taken airplanes for countless times since she was only 3 years old. Yeah, I'm very lucky.

But ... I still miss the atmosphere of the airport! *pouts* Wanna ride on an airplane again soon!

Plain water is the best!!! So refreshing!

Ahhhh, I'm very tired. Just got back home an hour ago.Went window shopping plus break fast with Rinie at Somerset. This is the first in the fasting month that I break fast outside.


By this experience, I really prefer breaking fast at home. Together as a whole family. I like that kind of environment. We don't always dine together, only during fasting month! That is sad, but our schedules don't allow us to do so frequently. We don't take dinner, by the way. Only breakfast, lunch and supper.


That's why I love the month of Ramadan! Have a great month of fasting!~

Hello, everyone!!!

I'm trying my best to post everday. Haha. Even if the entry doesn't makes sense, or not that interesting, it doesn't matter. Have to really make use of the holiday, you know.

Maira is going to Vietnam for Global Citizenship CDS. I'm wondering whether you've gone or not. I'll sms you later. My mom borrowed my handphone. Just for calling purposes and not to msg people. In my family, all has one except for my mom and my youngest sis, of course.

Are the songs being played nice? Even if you don't understand a word, please listen to it carefully, okay? One day ... I really want to study the Japanese Language!!! (and mandarin too! Sok Miang, teach me??? xDDDD)

I'm fasting today too. The 7th day, and the last day, since I had to repay the ones I owed last year. I'm definitely not repaying them in the last minute anymore. Have to do it early. *hits head*

Bought cloth for Hari Raya already. My mom will sew it for us.

This year ... I'll be wearing black for the first day of Hari Raya. Black lace (outer), and light grey for the lining (inside layer). First time, trying black. Usually it's bright & colourful colours. I'd like to see the outcome eventually.

Lisda, Maira ... holiday, korang tak kerja, kan?

Budak freshmen ngan junior probably sibuk kerja time holiday ... kitorang relak jer kat umah. Haha. Lagipun next semester ... SIP. Sigh. Asal lah masa berjalan dengan pantas. Cam tak percaya sey. (Pssst, Rinie, ko pun tak kerja kan?)

Okay, change back to English. It's really awkward writing an entry in my own language. I hate to admit it but I seem to have lost touch with Malay writing. The last time I ever wrote something in malay was probably in Secondary 4. Writing composition. It's sad but I prefer writing in english. Malay is more comprehend and ... hmm, just different.

Fasting is just round the corner!!!!~ Though I've been fasting for the past 3 days to re-pay the ones that I owe last year. It's always last minute. Haiz. I'll make it a point to re-pay it asap the next time.

I'll try to write an entry everyday!

It's 1st of September!!!

Can't believe it. Almost 3/4 of the year 2007 had passed by ... so quickly. Compared to the olden days, during my parent's period, the time was longer. Seriously. They told me, and I think it's really true. But to think of it, I am very lucky and grateful to be born in an era where everything is developed.

Even so, I envy those who have 'kampungs' in Malaysia, or what. I can't live without the technology, but once in awhile, staying in a kampung relieves the stress. It's peaceful and quiet.

Great thing about living in Singapore is that, married couples won't have to fight every hari raya over which sides to go first. Due to it's small size. =)

For my family, we'll go to my dad's side first in the morning then will proceed to my mom's side (grandma's house) in the afternoon, around 1pm like that. It's a normal routine for us. My mom's family (including uncles, aunts n my cousins) will rent a bus to jalan-jalan together!!! I love the unity of my extended family.

Why am I talking about Hari Raya already? Haha. Fasting is just around the corner!!! Hmmm, i think it starts on the 13th of September. This year ... I want to do my part as a Muslim. Maybe I'll solat terawih @ masjid sometimes. I never did it before, so maybe this year ...
