The name is Hani.
Quiet on appearance but actually quite easy to talk to if you manage to break down my walls.
Reserved, sweet, honey, sensitive.
Hates waiting.
Yesterday was the last day of my orientation <> ! Though it was very very tiring, i had a lot of fun! Well, i can't say that the orientation was boring because it was a mixture of ' boring ' and fun! Never in my life i felt so energetic, especially doing the cheers! Can't ever imagine myself being a cheerleader! Haha, never! The reason for the need to cheer? Well, that's the later part, in day 2.
The Orientation Leaders ( OLs ) are so friendly and funny! Yes, most of them are boys. But that's the best part! Hm, please don't think naughty! To me, boys are more relax. They can be serious at times, but still they can be very naughty. They crack jokes and even play a fool, in a naughty way ler! While girls when in charge are so serious! I'm a girl yet i'm saying this! Oh, well! That's my opinion. Different people have different judgements on life?
The first day, i do make friends. I was so disappointed though when i knew that i'm the only malay girl in that class! There's another malay guy. But isn't that so pathetic, only 2 malays in one class? Such an unfair balance! I rather have a class with all malays than a few malays in one class! I'm so poor thing! Made a new malay friend, Elina, on this day! :D Other friends i met are, Effendi , Li Yao, Zoee and Jason.
Yes, Jason! I really have to talk about this guy here. Remind myself, never to meet up with Jason, for he surely will be late! And one of the things i totally loathe is waiting! 5 to 10 mins is ok, but if it's more than 30 mins, exceeded the limits already!! I so wanna strangle him but me, being a nice girl, just let that go! But that doesn't mean i'm not angry! I want to complain also no use, for that thing had passed. But i do know of one guy who will definitely be punctual! My brother, Faaiz! He has a good discipline!
Introduced myself to some of my classmates, not introduce in detail, very straight forward. Just tell my name to my classmates. That's it! But i do remember some of their names. Not so important to write them down. So, i'll skip that part!
The OLs names are the ones that i shouldn't leave out! Won't write in detail though. Alvin, Zen ( i thought his name is spelled as ' zan ' ) , Shawn, Flamarg ? ,Victor and Joreme. I don't know some of the OLs name though! So sad! ;P Hehe.... But they're great, everyone of them! Done such a good job! Especially the cracking jokes part, they're all so natural! Should join acting, maybe? But i do think Zen look like Toro, a bit only! Maybe not to others, but to me, there is some familiarity! Haha, maybe it's because of the hair ? No, his face aso! And this one other guy who look like one of the members of 5566.But comparing with those SuPeRsTaRs, TP students are much more better, right o ? Haha..
Toured around TP library! It's 10th storey high but the last storey are restricted to students. It's for staff only, i think. This orientation, of course we walked up the stairs. So many people to accomodate into a lift. I found out that we can also borrow cds and vcds. The dvds, we can only watch it there, right ? Will be great....
By the way, we also learnt TP school song, quite nice actually especially the chorus. I think that's about it for Day 1, a lot of briefing, learning cheers and touring around the school. But i really think they should also show the freshmen a tour around the lecture halls so we wouldn't be struggling on the first day of school. We have to come early then to search for the lecture hall.
I almost forgot, we also learnt the mass dance ( have to hold hands with a guy, luckily mine is a chinese! ) and the cheeky dance ( my favourite dance ever, very the cute ! ) ....

The attendance taking took one whole hour! But of course, the OLs gave us some ' free shows ' .. They're very funny, you know. Make us feel comfortable in the lecture hall. Even though both Alvin and Zen are in charge, i really have to give credits to Alvin more. He really did make the LT 1 feel excited! He's responsible for making jokes. All the OLs are in their year 3, i think.
We were given our time table. So, Saturday there's no school. That means Sat is for us, TP students, to do our research work or revision. But does TP opens on that day? Should be, right ???
The OLs released us late for lunch, at 12.50. Our lunch time was at 12.00. That's because we were practicing cheering! Luckily, some of us order food from them. They're so sweet, helping us buy food, so we wouldn't have the trouble to walk such a distance to the canteen! They're so caring! Hehe... I think that only LT 1 leaders bought food for their freshmen, not others.
During the lunch break is the point where i met new friends! I met Lisda, Priya and Humaira. Even asked for their numbers!
Telematch games, i sat with Priya and Lisda. Btw, they're a year elder than me :P . Here, we shouted, we cheered, supporting our team mates! So fun! I felt like we're celebrating National Day, the spririt and enthusiasm was there! So alive and tense!
Temasek Regatta was the most boring item! Such a long time for a game to start! My butt hurts from sitting on the slopping grass. Ouch! Here, i do cheered but as time passes by, i became tired. So, i just cheered a bit, mumbling actually.
As if expecting it, IT school doesn't win, in fact we're always the few last to complete a race. Nevermind that, here's one of our cheer,
" It's okay, It's alright, IT IT will fight fight fight "
Actually, i can't remember the last line, hehe.. So, who won the overall competition? It's the .... Business School !! * clap * clap * My brother's in that school. I know one thing for sure, he wouldn't participate in anything like this. He's just a type of person who doesn't care about supporting others. I guessed as much, he didn't cheered for his team. Even if so, just being nice. Cheering is just not his cup of tea! But i do enjoy myself cheering like crazy!
Finally, that event came to an end. I didn't want to go to Jam & Hop. No way! What's that? Oh, dancing with few thousands of students in the sports complex. You know, the atmosphere like that of a pub, disco etc. In short, TP students are clubbing, in a legal way. That event starts at 8.00 and ends 2 1/2 hour later. But i skipped that. So, i went home early at 7. I'm so tired anyway, so it was time for ' home sweet home ' .....
